BGN’s guidance and counselling process was extremely helpful thorough and everything went on smoothly. When I joined BGN in June, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my future. Alizeh was so welcoming and stayed patient with me throughout the entire counselling process. Choosing the right major, writing my personal statement and selecting the right internships for my degree was only possible through BGN’s guidance.

Alizeh’s guidance was very in depth and thorough and looked at all different possibilities, which helped us come up with numerous approaches for how to go about the process. She helped me understand my areas of expertise and how to polish those while also working on my weaknesses.

BGN’s guidance and counselling process was very helpful for me. I took two interview prep sessions with Alizeh once I got an offer for interview at Cambridge. The most useful part of the process was the constant reassurance and calming of nerves! It’s a very daunting prospect to be applying and then going for interview and Alizeh helped me acknowledge that, all while tackling it.

My sessions at BGN have been very helpful and Alizeh is providing me with the support required to build a strong profile. She is extremely knowledgeable and provides the correct guidance to pursue relevant academic and extra-curricular goals that will help me stand out as an applicant. I had a total of 8 sessions with Alizeh. I had one introductory session in which she reviewed my personal statement draft and then she told me where I needed to improve, but in that session only she asked me about my majors and future plans. In the rest of the sessions we discussed the personal statement and made changes to it. My personal statement was a 100p times better from the first draft which I showed to Alizeh.

BGN’s guidance throughout was very comprehensive. They had an entire plan ready and followed it very systematically, ensuring I adhered to both internal and external deadlines. I consulted BGN for help for UCAS clearing. They helped me finalise my Clearing uni list and remained in touch with the unis I wanted to go to. They were extremely helpful and kept me updated about everything so I felt relaxed as I knew where I stood. They gave meaningful advice and helped me out with my personal statement, and were there for help whenever I needed it!

A very efficient process. We worked on the university list and the personal statement. Alizeh is the first person who actually made the personal statement look so easy. She perfectly understood what I wanted to convey in the essay and had the greatest insights . Along with that, she helped me look into all aspects of the universities I was applying to, making me entirely satisfied with the list. The guidance I received while working with BGN was thorough. I felt confident in my abilities but I was also able to set more realistic aims. It was a fantastic experience. Alizeh herself was very warm and down to earth and was eager to answer all my queries and did her best to make other people comfortable enough to talk about their aims and goals. I think scheduling and reminders were very helpful to keep me on track; being full time employed it was difficult to manage but Alizeh made every effort to help me. Her feedback was very helpful. She is an amazing woman; since the start it just felt like I was working with a friend rather than a counsellor.

At the beginning of my process, I was a bit confused about my journey. The feedback she provided on my CV gave me a clear idea on how to proceed not only academically, but also in my professional life. Overall my experience with BGN has been great! The BGN team was great at communicating and scheduling. I loved how the application process was broken into an initial brainstorming session, two rounds of feedback, and proofreading. Alizeh was very thorough and took the time to address all my queries and clear up any misconceptions I had. The session was very productive, as she had taken the time to conduct personalised research beforehand, so everything she shared was tailored to my situation. Alizeh was very easy to communicate with - easy to talk and not intimidating at all. She struck a perfect balance between professional and personal, making me feel comfortable throughout the session.

If one word could describe her way of helping her clients out is perfect! She very clearly informed me about each and every aspect I need to consider when applying for my university and even gave me proper information of how I can work on a few aspects to make the process more easier. Starting from my own character to community services, internships and even information about common app prompts, everything was perfectly explained.

I liked everything from the personal PowerPoint catering to my needs to simply talking to alizeh. It was laid back while simultaneously covering all issues I had pointed out in the survey when signing up. She was very nice and easy to talk to. As always the counselling and guidance was perfect, I was preparing for an initial interview and Alizeh helped me manage everything. She helped me come up with a plan where she suggested to firstly do firm specific research followed by research on competitors, then she made me look at job specific research and using STAR method she asked me to come up with examples of work I had done which match these requirements. Alizeh is very thorough so what she will make you do would be just as thorough and on point! I was probably over prepared but not at all under prepared for this interview. She worked greatly with me on helping me identify my strengths and weaknesses and present them in a manner that they highlight my personality. I think how Alizeh checked everything, gave detailed feedback and made sure I’m on the right track was something that really helped me

I have previously worked with Alizeh when applying for my undergraduate degree which was amazing (as always). I am currently working with her on perfecting my cover letter & resume as I am about to graduate soon and she has made the process so much easier by helping me come up with a plan, telling me new techniques and it has been an amazing experience.
